Brian grew up in Montana, and still travels there to visit family regularly. He received his
undergraduate degree in Biology with a religion minor from Pacific Lutheran University in
Washington, and went on to get his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies with an
emphasis in Bioethics because “it sounded interesting” from Midwestern University in Glendale,
AZ in 2005. He has practiced in primary care and urgent care for over 11 years in Las Vegas
before moving to Utah to work as a provider educator, training other providers in Primary Care
and documentation best practices before deciding to return to clinical practice.

He specializes in chronic disease management, helping patients manage long term problems,
such as hypertension, COPD, diabetes, mental health and cardiac issues, as well as care
coordination and major disease prevention. He loves working with patients of all ages, but
generally sees adults and senior patients, as that is his particular area of interest.

When not seeing patients, Brian loves to spend time with his wife and young son, travel
(Mexico, Europe and western US are favorite locations,) SCUBA dive, practice karate and read
(you’ll rarely find him without a book!) He’ s excited to be back in the clinical field and is
welcoming new patients to his practice.
